Finca Son Balboa Banyalbufar
This unique Richard Branson property is one of three luxury homes within the estate of Son Bunyola and it is also equipped for 5-star stays in one of the most beautiful areas of Mallorca. The luxurious finca is steeped in history as its turret dates back to the 13th century with small secret slotted windows having been used to mark similar lookout points in the area to warn of possible attacks.
The patio in the center of the house is the perfect place to relax and find a cozy corner to read a book. Inside, it’s a mix of traditional features, including exposed-beam ceilings, terracotta-tiled floors, and modern decor. The open-plan lounge and dining area is light, airy and the perfect place for leisurely breakfasts. The light-filled dining area seats up to eight guests around a round table and the farmhouse-style kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances.
4 bedrooms accommodate up to 8 guests and each bedroom has views of the dramatic surrounding hills and gardens. One of the bedrooms is located in the villa’s fairytale turret with a curved stairwell leading up to the sleeping area.
The tiered garden grounds boasts a saltwater pool with ocean views flanked by eight sun loungers, a sofa-bedecked terrace and an inviting, sun-shaded al fresco dining area. The neighboring tennis court, a ping-pong table, various board games, books and gaming consoles ensure that the whole family can focus firmly on fun, sun and relaxation.
